Solid Iroko and oak, burnt by hand

BENCHES

Our benches are defined by structure: solid and composed, they carry strength without excess. Each one is cut from Iroko or oak and burnt black by hand, the Japanese shou sugi ban technique, then waxed or oiled so the charred grain stays visible. The AD Bench (237 or 300 cm) and the Zoumey bench (300 cm, edition of eight) are long monolithic seats for hallways, dining tables and public spaces; the Bunker benches, in burnt oak or burnt Iroko, are solid blocks of 100 and 225 cm; the V-Bench, 180 cm, is in burnt and oiled Iroko. Every bench is customizable in length, finish and proportion and made in our ateliers in Belgium, for residential, hospitality and outdoor use. Indicative lead times: 8-10 weeks; larger pieces such as tables and sofas: 10-12 weeks. Every piece is designed and made in our ateliers in Belgium; dimensions, wood species and finishes can be adapted.
